Orange County to offer discussion on Grief in Older Life

The Orange County Department on Aging and the Project EngAGE Mental Wellness and End of Life Choices Senior Resource Teams invite the public to attend a presentation on Grief in Older Life: Knowing Pain, Living Joy on Tuesday, September 8.

Grief comes in many forms. As we face transitions in life – loss of pets or loved ones, physical and cognitive changes, downsizing or moving to retirement facilities – we have to adapt. We have to adapt to our new realities while giving ourselves an opportunity to honor what we leave in the past. Join Holly Lux-Sullivan, a death doula and grief counselor, as she helps us learn how to reflect on our losses.

This FREE in-person event will take place on Tue, Sep 8 from 4 – 5:30 pm at the Passmore Center, located at 103 Meadowlands Dr, Hillsborough, NC.
